Khoj Kolkata was founded in mid-2005 under the aegis of Khoj International
Artists’ Association, a registered society since 1997. Khoj is an artists’
initiative and a part of the Triangle Arts Trust, London, currently focused
on connecting South Asia to the world. Khoj provides a platform for active
debate and participatory experimentation in art.

Khoj Kolkata proposes to support projects each year (both Indian and
international) from the alternative domain. In addition, we aim to improve
interactions between artists in Eastern and North-eastern India, as also
engage in fruitful exchanges between its counterparts, Britto in Bangladesh
and Sutra in Nepal, by way of workshops, residencies, seminars, etc.
