“Terror” – Seeking Redefinition Today

Khoj Kolkata comes together with mainstream platforms of art practice and projection to address the issue of “terror” – a word that is today increasingly seeking redefinition across cultures and borders.   

The ‘redefinition of terror’ or ‘new definitions of terror’ emerge as the main thrust in Khoj Kolkata’s contribution to the “Art against Terror” initiative. Confusing and often incomprehensible as the issue is, the eight artists presented here attempt to “comprehend” a monster with a myriad faces named “Terror” through projects that include photography, video, animation, sculptural arrangements, graphic novels, and community art projects.
